Most politicians (in the US, at least) have campaign websites with contact information. I’ve decided to start contacting them directly through these websites. I’ll post what I write to them and their responses (if any) here!

Hi! I recently received an Email back about Iran and I wanted some clarification. You mentioned that slowing down bombing Iran “would send the wrong message to our adversaries and risk projecting division at a critical moment for United States national security.” Who are our adversaries, and why is this a critical moment for national security? If the adversary is Iran, will you please explain in your own words why? Thanks in advance!

This is about the SAVE Act and the other voter suppression acts.
Frankly, I don't think Lindsey Graham can read, and if he can, I doubt he's ever read any of these messages considering the canned responses I've received in the past. Thus this is addressed to whoever does read them, if anyone.
Do you really believe that the Republican party will ever be merciful to you? The Republican party's goal is only to preserve wealth and power for the wealthy and the powerful. This party does not care about its voters and it does not care about those who keep it in power. Are you also wealthy and powerful, reader? Are you scared that someone will appear one day to take your wealth and your power away from you? Or do you depend on the kindness of a party that has built its platform on cruelty?
Stop them from trying to suppress voters. You can't make people go away by making it illegal for them to vote. You'll just make them angry and ensure they have less to lose.

It is worth noting that while I did not receive a direct response to this message, I did send other messages around this time with forms created by ACLU and MoveOn concerning the SAVE Act. I received the following, presumably from the hospital and the beyond (or an intern who never turned off auto-reply).
